The Sandycroft Area Forum for Enterprise – SAFE – was formed with the aim of promoting growth and industry in the area.
The idea for SAFE was inspired by the Deeside Industrial Park Forum, which was initiated by Askar Sheibani, managing director at Comtek Network Systems. Askar explained that the forum offers significant benefits to its members by way of networking opportunities, sharing of best practice, public information, and much more.
Lord Barry Jones who has agreed to be President of SAFE gave a rousing speech at the event about the specific history of the area and was extremely complimentary of what the forum had already achieved. “In all my years of public service this is one of the best organised and most successful community business launches I have had the pleasure of being involved with,” he said.
The Sandycroft forum who Chair, Adam Butler, will help provide a channel through which local businesses can benefit from information and initiatives from fellow businesses, the council and government.
We remain committed to developing SAFE and encouraging all our business neighbours to join the forum to build a better sense of business community and benefit from a collective voice.
