Born and bred in Connah’s Quay – educated at St Richard Gwyn High in Flint – started with Midland Bank in Shotton in 1984.
A career banker – with 37 years’ experience – across a wide variety of roles from Branch Manager to Community Liaison Manager to Senior Commercial Banking Manager at a range of locations (including Bangor, Barnsley and Bradford).
Leadership roles undertaken for last 15 years across UK – returned home to North Wales 6 years ago – responsibility for North & Mid Wales for all business with a turnover of up to £15 million.
Currently responsible for HSBC agricultural proposition for Wales – with 12 specialists managers in the field – in 2020, £15m revenue generated and lending in excess of £1.5 billion.
Passionate about our local economy and keen to support all local businesses (and business people) to be the “best they can be”.
Hobbies include sport, country walking, pub quizzes, cinema and foreign travel.
